Even though new to this (the internet) i've read all of your letters regarding going gold or not. I have a few comments/suggestions: -it sounds like going gold would cost a lot more for guys accessing your site. - sounds like this would be a real hardship for those much older guys on fixed income (which are probably the majority) - sounds like this "middle man" (adultcheck gold) would gain much more than you would gain from "going gold". so you would be putting a hardship on fixed income guys without much benefit to you (but A LOT to adultcheck) - i can understand (even without internet experience) the incredible increase in your time and expense going "private" would engender. already i am in awe of your ablility to answer so many letters, update the site reasonably, problem solve this "infant" internet for your members, etc. etc. etc. (this is definitely a "labor of love" isn't it) -however, you might consider this option (and i don't have any idea how workable it would be - just a "brain-storm" idea) : initiate a private membership with the younger guys paying for a bit more of the cost. I am one of those, and i agree with # 19 letter that i would pay $40-50-? cost to be able to enjoy this site every day (you DO have a loyal fan in me).
